Friday Fitness Funnies


This is how I felt this week. Waaaay too many people at the gym. I'm guessing Spring Break or trying or Summer Body Resolutions kicked up with the start of spring.

    Do you mean at the gym? I used to feel uncomfortable at the gym, too, since I felt like everyone was watching and judging (esp. the bodybuilder type guys and gym "bunnies", haha, since I feel that they are "pros"). However, I find, for the most part, everyone's focusing on their own thing.

    If they are actually scrutinizing your workout, I would just ignore them. You're trying to get healthier/stronger and that's all that matters. It speaks detrimentally towards their own character if they're judging you.

    If, however, you feel uncomfortable doing some of the moves/using some of the machines, I would ask someone that works there to show you how to operate it or take one day to have a personal trainer show you how to use the machines. That way, you're more confident (and not worrying about form). Good luck!
